Fun With Inflatable Pool Slides

A great way to spend some time in the summer is cooling off in the pool. One way to make your pool even more exciting is to use one of the inflatable pool slides on the market. They are a great, inexpensive way to make your pool more entertaining.

These slides are usually made of PVC and nylon. Some pools include repair patches in case the pool does somehow puncture. Other features on the inflatable pool slide might be handles, or roper ladders.

Most of the slides on the market are designed for use on the side of the pool. There is a least one, however, that can be used even in the middle of the pool. A point to consider with that type is that it would make it more difficult to get to the top of the slide.

Most inflatable pool water slides have a maximum weight capacity. This depends on the pool, but if you want your slide to last you a long time, you should stay within this capacity. One time you may want to exercise a little extra caution to stay within the range is when you have more than one rider at a time. Some pools also have a depth requirement for use. Make sure you follow these manufacturer’s instructions to remain safe while using the product.

There is a wide variety of slides you can choose from. The most basic can cost as low as thirty dollars, while more expensive slide can cost up to four hundred. Generally, the more expensive the inflatable pool water slide you purchase, the more durable and more features the slide has. So keep in mind when purchasing your pool that a cheaper pool may not last a long that costs more.

One of the great things about an inflatable slide is that it is easy to use. Most slides just require inflation. When you inflate, make sure it is firm enough to support riders. The only other step would be to connect your hose to the slide to get and keep it wet. Then it is ready to use. If there is any other assembly involved it will be minimal.

Another great thing about inflatable slides for pools is that they are compact. It’s a nuisance having clutter in your house. You slide doesn’t have to contribute to that clutter. While your slide is not in use it will be deflated to a small size for easy storage.

Before you can used your slide, you will need to inflate it. This can be done with a manual, battery operated, or electric pump. If the slide you purchase doesn’t include a pump, you will want to make sure you get one. A manual one will be significantly slower, but will still get the job done.

It’s a good idea to make sure your slide is completely dry before storing. If the slide doesn’t dry properly, mold could grow on it while storing, which you definitely want to avoid. Proper storage of your slide will help the slide last longer, so you can enjoy it for years to come.

Inflatable water slides for pool can be great. Make sure you follow manufacturer’s instructions, inflate properly, and have fun!
